Originally, James started the coffeehouse ministry in 2000 @ Marketplace Community Church (Chesterbrook Shopping Center). The Agora Cafe has served at various churches over the years and continues to serve the community as a beacon of light, a positive alternative to smoky bars and crowded shopping malls and now resides in Spring City at Regeneration Church and at Real Church of Brookhaven PA.

The Mission is to bridge the gap between generations, to offer hope to a hurting world, and to reach out to the community and surrounding areas to provide quality family friendly entertainment in a positive environment. The Agora Cafe opened its doors on Friday, March 3rd 2023, and will be open every first Friday of the month from 5:30 to 9:30 pm (doors open @ 6:30) at Spring City Regeneration Church 45 N. Church Street, Spring City PA 19475 (www.SpringCityRegen.com)as well as at Real Church of Brookhaven 301 Edwards Drive, Brookhaven, PA on the 4th Friday of the month from 7pm to 10pm. Both coffeehouses feature a main musical act as well as an Open Mic to share your talents in a familt friensly environment.
